Mini-recorder Redesign
This student project is a military-inspired redesign of a Cenix mini-recorder.
The goal was to accurately reverse engineer and then using Rhinoceros, 3D model the original product. The handheld device's electronic components were then enclosed in a newly designed case. This development included all required specifications and allowances for injection molding.
This is a common practice of repurposing internal components in a new product or updating aesthetics to please a new or evolving consumer base.
